Ahead of the first Grand Slam of the season, all players on the ATP tour are absolutely hoping to be in great shape. Thus, tennis stars compete in warm-up tournaments such as Adelaide International 2, which will be held a week before the Australian Open 2023.

An ATP 250 event is set to take place from 09-14 January at the Memorial Drive Tennis Centre in Adelaide, where World No.8 Andrey Rublev will be leading the field.

The ATP Finals semi-finalist will be confronted on the outdoor hard courts with host Nick Kyrgios, Italian Lorenzo Musetti, fellow countryman Karen Khachanov, Spanish duo Pablo Carreno Busta, and Roberto Bautista Agut.

Notably, the defending champion Gael Monfils will probably not be part of the main draw. The 36-year-old Frenchman already has excluded himself from the Aussie Open 2023 to use a protected ranking.
