Holger Rune posted a video on Instagram on Saturday with the caption – “Little escape from holiday to keep the form alive.” It seems that World No.11 is determined to work hard in order to continue his current impressive form in 2023 instead of taking a rest after capping off a busy season.
The Danish man competed in back-to-back tournaments worldwide in 2022. To reach his career-high ranking of No.10 from 103, the 19-year-old put in a lot of effort throughout the season as he played 28 tournaments.
Rune claimed the title at the BMW Open, Stockholm Open, and Paris Masters and reached the final at the Sofia Open and Swiss Indoors Basel. He also could not fail to enhance his performance in the Grand Slam events as he appeared in the French Open quarterfinal and the US Open third round.
